We have a machine shop who is trying to put some performance into the 3.1L GM engine. He says for a Hobby Stock class. This concern is really right now only for the cylinder heads as they're what he is going to start with. Has anyone experience with angle milling heads, intake, etc. As well as how much material to remove to raise compression ratio a point, two points, and let's even say 3 points.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Dave,
I think they have to run stock engines. Need to see a copy of the Rules for the Track he will be building the engine for so we know what is allowed.
