A Level Diesel Engine Technician Candidates for this position should have 6-8+ years of experience in the repair, service and remanufacture of diesel engines. Must have experience & demonstrate proficiency with diagnostic software, ability to read electrical wiring diagrams & knowledge of common rail fuel systems. OEM certifications or technical training required. The technician will, under the supervision of the Service Manager, be responsible for the remanufacture, repair and service of diesel engines. Will be required to accurately document all phases of the remanufacture, repair and/or service process, to include time and parts used along with a detailed description of work performed. The Diesel Engine Technician reports directly to the Service Manager. Additional duties include, but are not limited to; loading/unloading of customers, removal and replacement of engines in equipment, all aspects of service work or any other duties as required by the position. Tools required. Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Weekends off. Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule.
Country Sales and Service is an OEM certified diesel engine remanufacturer servicing multiple brands and industries. Interested candidates must have a strong work ethic, a high level of attention to detail, be organized, maintain a clean work environment and be team oriented with an excellent record of attendance and punctuality. Candidates must have a working knowledge of basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Etc.) and the ability to learn an inventory management system in order to perform the duties required of the position.
