As title says, Anyone using soda blasting on heads and blocks?   If so how is that working out for you?

Chuck it In the hone and see how it cleans up,  I would not be afraid of going .001 over if nesc,   If it cleans up, then good to go,  if you have doubts, sleeve it.

Notice the same issue here, using the Sunnen stones.  industrial numbers.  same as an501-71.  ​Probably a change in material Due to EPA regulations ( tongue in cheek)

Pretty sure they need more information than that,  who makes the engine?  Nissan, Continental?

I'd like to see the responses also.  we use a parts washer,  Really get concerned with glass beads as the can get caught in bolt hole and oil passages.

Happy new year to all,  I have a 71000   Heated circulator that I use  for crack repair,  also sealing of  heads that have porosity.  Seems that Irontite has gotten out of the Circulator business.  Any ideas on a similar type  equipment to flow sealer into heads and blocks?

I have noticed that some guides that taper on ends to very thin wall thickness have a tendency to crack when using Kline ball broaches.   Never a perfect world in the engine business.
